About This Project

Shriners Hospitals for Children is changing lives every day through innovative pediatric care, world-class research and outstanding medical education. The 22 facilities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico provide advanced care for children with orthopedic conditions, burns, and spinal cord injuries. Although known by its peers throughout the world as a medical powerhouse, it has lacked a cohesive public identity.

With its long standing relationship, Inception helped educate the public and bring awareness to Shriners Hospital for Children – Northern CA by developing an hour-long documentary, “Where Dreams Come True”, that showcases the day-to-day miracles of this hospital and the dreams of several remarkable children and their families as their lives were forever changed by the magic of people who care. The documentary was shot over 2 ½ years and is narrated by actor, singer, and songwriter Kris Kristofferson and features his music.

The documentary has been broadcast on several Network affiliates including, CBS 13-Sacramento, CBS 47-Fresno, ABC 8-Reno, and is planned for broadcast on CBS 5–San Francisco in 2016, as well as exhibitions at festival venues throughout the United States. In its live event premiere, the film generated a $100,000 donation individual from a single individual along with many more donations through the shows broadcasts, donor cultivation events and from support from philanthropic groups.

Additional projects for the campaign include: Website, Digital Advertising, Promotional Trailer, Public Relations and Custom DVDs for donor events and philanthropic groups.
